Hello! I am Petteri Paju, a Finnish IT energineer.
I am a Media Technology and Game Programming engineer.
I have a variety of different skills in IT and media areas. I consider myself to be extremely computer literate and take a bride on my abilities to quickly learn and understand new programs.
As a person, I am introverted, responsible,
someones who is never late and is terrified of bugs.
Make sure to check examples of my works in
the top navigation bar!
Programming
I love videogames. I love programming.
Thus, I love video game programming.
While I have experience in developing all kinds of software,
my real passion is in video game development.
Be it Unity C#, Flash (RIP), or HTML5, the act of coding and problem solving has for a long time been a huge pleasure to me.
I am experienced in Unity3D game engine and have worked with it for years for different kinds of projects.
Unity Editor Scripting
One thing I love about Unity is its extensibility.
By creating your own tools, you can boost your development time and make the process more streamlined.
Editor extensions can replace coding and automate many tasks that otherwise need to be done manually.
Unity editor extensions can be simple inspector modifications or almost total UI overhauls, like my Visu20 project.
I have been developing editor tools for years now and it has taught me a lot about Unity and game development.

Video Production
Before I was going to be a programmer, I always had an interest in Video Production, especially video editing.
I have worked on making some demonstrational videos for the health sector and even hold short courses for a large group of people.
Although I am not a visually creative kind, be it video editing, camera, or audio work I know what to do and how to make it work.
Most thing PC related
I have used computers since I was a kid and have dipped into many kinds of different fields. If it can be done with a mouse and keyboard, chances are I have at least some experience on the subject.
Few highlights are Photo editing, Vector Graphics, 3D modeling and 2D animation, and Rasberry Pi.
I am also well versed in troubleshooting and fixing computers on both the software and hardware levels.
In short: I am a nerd.
