This was a school project that was requested to my class by Central Hospital of Päijät-Häme
The request was to create an interactive map that informs different kinds of patients how to arrive at the hospital. The map had to show users which door the patient should use to enter the hospital, based on where he wants to go. Map also shows users possible parking slots and displays additional information such as when is the hospital open.
The map was created in HTML and Javascript and my role in the project was as a programmer while other members handled the visual side.
To give users as much information as possible, additional information can be displayed with different kinds of popups.
Popups are used to displayed more complex driving introductions and other text-based information
Popups can be either small or big depending on the content.
Every text element can be edited via XML and has an option for different languages!
